Adaptive Teaching in the Mathematics Classroom
Course Overview:
This full day course focuses on the model of adaptive teaching. We will explore the benefits of using an adaptive teaching approach and consider the steps needed before and during the lesson to help meet the needs of learners.
This includes identifying prerequisite skills, anticipating potential barriers and making use of ‘real-time’ assessment opportunities e.g. hinge questions. This course is suitable for subject leaders, KS1 and KS2 teachers.
