Specialist Knowledge for Teaching Mathematics
Overview:
This project is designed to support secondary early career teachers (teachers in their first two years of teaching) in developing specialist knowledge for teaching mathematics, thus enabling them to understand, teach and support students in maths in the classroom.
Dates & Times:
The course will run from 1.30-4.00pm on the following dates:
- Tuesday 16th November 2021 (Online)
- Tuesday 1st February 2022 (Face-to-Face)
- Tuesday 15th March 2022 (Face-to-Face)
- Tuesday 10th May 2022 (Face-to-Face)
- Tuesday 28th June 2022 (Face-to-Face)
Cost:
The SKTM Secondary Early Career Teachers Programme project is fully funded by the Maths Hubs Programme so is free to participating schools.

Information collection – enquiry forms:
The operator of the site requests information from users on their enquiry forms. A user must provide contact information (name, e-mail, and address etc) in order for the operator or their agents to respond to the enquiry. This information is used for the purposes of enquiry response. If they have trouble processing an enquiry, the information is used to contact the user.
Security:
All of users’ information, including any sensitive information, is restricted and for office use only in relation with the purpose of marketing or managing event related business or services.
Correcting / updating / deleting / deactivating personal information:
If a user’s personally identifiable information changes (such as phone, e-mail or postal address), or if a user no longer desires such services or no longer wants to be contacted in relation to the events or services offered they can contact the operator online, by phone, or via email.
